Why Doesn’t Kim Kardashian Attend Any Major Award Shows?

Don’t you think it’s odd Kim Kardashian is everywhere these days except at the biggest nights honoring the best of Hollywood?With beauty and fashion lines, product endorsements and her own TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashian starlet Kim Kardashian seems like she’s got her hands in just about everything these days.
But when it comes to Hollywood’s biggest nights of the year, the 29-year-old reality star is noticeably absent — and we’re wondering why.When Kim was a no-show for both the Golden Globes and the Grammys, we figured it was because the programs ran on Sunday.
She wouldn’t want to take away viewers from her own episodes.“I know the Grammy’s are on but so is Keeping Up With The Kardashians!” Kim complained Jan. 31 of the music awards competition, which distracted viewers from her E! reality show.
But when the Oscars rolled around March 7 and Keeping Up had already wrapped, the starlet STILL didn’t participate in any festivities — no dinner parties, viewing parties, after-parties…nothing. In fact, Kim and her boyfriend of three years, Reggie Bush, spent a romantic weekend in Costa Rica — far from any Tinseltown bashes!
