Kim Kardashian is cashing on her tweets, as the socialite’s being paid as much as 10,000 dollars to spread the word about products on her Twitter page.

With apparently 2.7 million followers, the reality TV star seems to have become a prime candidate for endorsing the hottest new thing - even if it''s a salad.

Her recent Twitter post reads: "The Carl''s Jr grilled chicken salads came out yesterday!! I''m on my way to Carl''s Jr for lunch now . . . have you tried them yet?"

The 29-year-old reality TV star has inked a deal with the "in-stream advertising" company Ad.ly to endorse the fast food chain''s salads, reports the New York Post.

Ad.ly co-founder Derek Rey told PRNewser, Carl''s Jr. isn''t an Ad.ly campaign client and Kardashian has merely signed on the dotted line to endorse the fast food chain''s salads, for which she has commanded 10,000 dollars per tweet. Rey says Karsashian and the other celebs on his roster are limited to one paid tweet per day to avoid turning her audience off with obvious product placements. "We''re not a polluter," Rey said, adding that if she''s tweeting-for-cash, she has to disclose it.

Kim Kardashian is sued by Dr. Siegel's Cookie Diet Company. In a legal paper filed in Miami Dade County, Florida on December 29, the manufacturer are seeking for unspecified damages against the TV personality, claiming she has falsely called their product "unhealthy" on her Twitter page.

In addition, the diet cookie company also accuse that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has a "commercial motive" behind her statement on Twitter. They come to such allegation due to the fact that Kim is a spokesperson for a rival weight loss program QuickTrim.

Prior to the Twitter lawsuit, Kim Kardashian released a cease and desist letter to the cookie maker for falsely claiming that she was endorsing their brand. "We received a letter a week ago asking us to remove a link to a news story (that we did not write) on our website that implied she was using and endorsing our product," the company's CEO Matthew Siegal told Radar Online.

"We felt betrayed by the leaking of this letter and my father Dr Siegal, who invented the product 35 years ago, was personally offended by her claims. My message to Kim Kardashian is that we have no animosity against her personally but that she should act more responsibly and not say false statements about our brand while endorsing another one at the same time."Kim Kardashian herself was previously revealed to have pocketed $10,000 from advertisers for a tweet promoting their products to her over two million followers on the micro-blogging site.

The audio of Brooke Mueller’s tearful 911 call reporting husband Charlie Sheen for attacking her with a knife, and it’s awful. Brooke’s voice warbles as she tells the operator, “My husband had me [inaudible] with, um, with a knife, and I was scared for my life. He threatened me.” Like a mantra, she repeats that she must file a police report. When the operator asks for her husbands name, Brooke’s voice breaks and she says, “It’s Charlie Sheen,” then lets out a sob. “I gotta file for divorce.” I don’t particularly recommend listening to this, because the vocal utterances of a woman afraid for her life is not the greatest way to start your day, but the audio is in the “video” tab of the Post’s story if you feel so inclined. TMZ has the police report, which shows Charlie denying everything Brooke says, then standing by as a police officer recovers a 4-inch knife, locked in the open position, from his belongings.

Want to party with Kim Kardashian this New Year’s Eve? Hollyscoop has the details on the big party she’s hosting! Kim will host a pre-New Year’s Eve bash at Eva Longoria Parker’s luxurious new nightclub, Eve, in Crystals at CityCenter in Las Vegas on December 30th.

Eve is a brand new club situated above Longoria Parker’s signature restaurant Beso, located at The Park entrance across from ARIA at CityCenter. The luxurious nightspot features lavish VIP booths, floor-to-ceiling mirrored windows and a 50-foot-tall arched ceiling accentuate the glamorous interior. One-of-a kind colossal video screens surrounding the dance floor are a striking, state-of-the art feature unique to Eve alone. “Billboard’s New Year’s Eve Live” will be on location for the event, which will air as part of the New Year’s Eve broadcast on FOX.

The following night is the official grand opening and New Year’s Eve party, hosted by Eva Longoria and friends. The $125 package includes an array of signature hors d’oeuvres, an open bar from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and a champagne toast at midnight.

Twitter is more than just a social networking tool. It's also a platform for showcasing your greatest triumphs. Take Reggie Bush. Running back for the New Orleans Saints and 2005 Heisman Trophy winner. His team is a heavy favorite to win the Super Bowl in February. Accomplished guy. Lot of achievements to wave around from that soapbox.

So which does he settle on? A Connect Four win. In today's Daily TwitPic, Bush flaunts his win over Kim Kardashian in the classic Milton Bradley table game. In the micro-blogging equivalent of an over-the-top Touchdown celebration, he even forces Kardashian to tweet the pic from her own feed. They are not the Kardashians if they do not create a scene during a party. What supposed to be a merry and peaceful Christmas celebration turned bloody when a priest allegedly was punched during a brawl. TMZ reported that Christmas at the Kardashians involved a call to 911.

On Christmas eve around 7 P.M., the head of the family Bruce Jenner dialed the emergency number after his neighbor "went ballistic" at the valet stand outside the family's Hidden Hills home. The neighbor who was not pleased with the line, appeared intoxicated, fell over and cut his face. The next thing that happened, Pastor Brad who was one of the Kardashians' guests, helped him to get up but he got punched on the chin. Bruce came to the rescue and separated them. Police made no arrest during the incident and the pastor, who united Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom in holy matrimony last month, was said doing fine.

Kim Kardashian, a reality television celebrity whose main claim to fame is a sex tape, is one of  several celebrities who are cashing in on their loyal Twitter fans by spamming them without their knowledge. But she’s far from the worst offender. Dr. Drew Pinsky, a board-certified internist and addiction medicine specialist, who millions turn to for unbiased advice on his Twitter stream and nationally syndicated television and radio shows, also spams his Twitter followers.

He joins a list of other D-list celebrities such as Lauren Conrad and Paris Hilton, another celebrity whose main claim to fame is a sex tape, who are being paid to promote products to Twitter fans. Kardashian, however,  appears to be the queen of Twitter spammers. Advertisers reportedly pay her up to $10,000 per tweet to mention their product to her 2.7 million Twitter followers. In one Tweet on Dec. 21, Kim let her trusting fans know that she was heading to the gym for a workout. She added that she would be wearing her Reebok Easy Tone shoes, and even suggested a place to get them, with links to both sites.

She became famous because of a sex tape, and somehow Kim Kardashian has managed to forge a career for herself in the U.S. Her latest job seems to borrow heavily from her now infamous home video, which she made with her ex-lover R&B star Ray-J. The 29-year-old socialite stars in an advertisement for American fast food chain Carl's Jr. and manages to turn eating a salad into a highly sensual experience.

While in another scene she is seen in the bath, naked, covered only by bubbles as she pops a slice of apple into her mouth. The eldest of the Kardashian sisters has recently been on a health kick herself, slimming down after a magazine in the States released a photo of her that had not been retouched - exposing her cellulite. Kim is seen writing around on a bed, eating a salad wearing nothing but a cream coloured robe. Complex magazine mistakenly posted the wrong picture of the star, one that hadn't been touched up by the airbrush. The magazine quickly pulled the shot and replaced it with the official retouched photo, but not fast enough to prevent it spreading across the internet In 2007 Kim also fell foul of the internet after a sex tape starring herself and then boyfriend Ray J was released. She pursued legal action against Vivid Entertainment for ownership of the tape, but later dropped the suit and settled with the porn company for $5million.

Good luck keeping up with Kim Kardashian. The model and reality star is pulling down an absolutely stunning (or sickening depending on how you look at it) $10,000 every time she mentions a specific product in her Twitter account.

Kim is the highest-paid Twitter user listed on ad.ly, an advertising agency that sells in-stream ads on the Twitter accounts of celebrities such as Stephen Colbert, Dr. Drew and Lauren Conrad. With 2.7 million followers, Kim demands $10,000 every time she Tweets about a product, a name drop made more valuable by the fact that ad.ly limits paid Tweets to one per day. No matter how you spin it, that's $10,000 per day for very very little work. Sometimes life just isn't fair. After reviewing Kim's Twitter, I can't tell right off which Tweets are straight up advertising, but she talks about a lot of products. The mentions of board games Scattegories and Taboo seem innocent enough. But then there's this. I'm guessing this is an ad.
