Despite attending many shows as a fan, Kardashian has been on the job. In an article at Women’s Wear Daily, Kim Kardashian revealed the true nature of her fashion show visits. "We go obviously for the fun of it," stated Kardashian, "and for that whole experience, but we’re there as buyers more so than anything else.

Kardashian went on to explain the purpose for her buyer eye. "... each of our stores have different customers, so we kind of look — we’ll know if we see certain pieces: ‘That would be good for the Miami store, now the New York store, or Calabasas'."
