Kim Kardashian might not be an accomplished actress like Lindsay Lohan, but advertisers still preferred her nude photos over Lindsay's -- her issue of Playboy sold more ad pages than that of the Mean Girls star.

No matter what Lindsay does with her life and no matter how many legal struggles she goes through, she'll always have something over Kim - she started her career as a real actress, and Kim started hers with a sex tape. However, more companies trying to peddle their products want to be associated with the Kardashians.
That's not to say that advertisers weren't jumping at the opportunity to feature their products in Lindsay Lohan's Playboy issue - according to Gossip Cop, it sold 55 percent more ad pages than the same issue did last year, making her the second-most sponsored celebrity cover model in recent years. But of course Kim Kardashian's issue is the one that topped hers - Lindsay's issue sold 49 pages of ads and Kim's sold 57.
Maybe Kim's issue did just a little bit better because advertisers knew that people would buy it to see her famous backside in the buff, while some companies were wary about advertising in Lindsay Lohan's issue because of her recent reputation. She might be a tabloid darling, but it also seems that many people are getting sick of hearing about her in the same way that they're getting sick of hearing about Kim Kardashian. So at least Kim was just starting to become popular in 2007 when she posed nude for Playboy.
But who knows what would happen if Kim decided to pose again - her family is now associated with tons of products, so she might sell even more ad pages this time around (especially if she could get her sisters to pose nude with her). Hugh Hefner has claimed that Lindsay Lohan's issue is breaking sales records, so just imagine what a Kardashian sister issue could do.
